“Private gathering was spectacular!”

We had a group event that was hosted at this wonderful restaurant. It involved 7 small plates and wine pairings. Having spent the day before tasting at several other wineries, I was surprised that each and every wine we were served was better than all of those others! Fabulous food! I almost can't decide which food I liked the most, the crab cake, the duck, the ravioli, the asparagus, the meatball, the buffalo, or the Panna Cotta. Every bite of every offering was beyond expectations, and almost too good to believe! The restaurant is inside a vintage train car that is beautifully decorated. You feel like you have been transported to another place in time! It was the best!   ~ ww13

Join us on Tuesday nights for our bi-weekly wine specials night. I will be hosting at Monterosso’s Italian Restaurant in order to serve wine specials for you to taste. I will be happy to pour you a sip of these wines as you arrive for dinner. When you find a new wine that you love, enjoy a glass or bottle with dinner and feel free to buy a bottle at lower retail “to go” prices to take home as well. Celebrate in style with dinner on the train. Fabulous food, casual elegance & exceptional service.

 

Special four course dinner. Choose one appetizer, one salad or soup, one entrée and one dessert per person from our special menu below. (Our regular menu will not be available).

 

Choice of Appetizer:

 

Shrimp Cocktail – with spicy cocktail sauce and sweet celery relish.

Caprese Napoleon – layers of soft mozzarella cheese, fresh Roma tomatoes, basil infused salt & basil oil.

Oysters Mignonette– with Champaign tarragon mignonette, smoked cheddar and crispy whole wheat cracker.

 

Choice of Soup or Salad:

 

Lemon Shrimp Bisque – rich and creamy.

Quail tossed cobb salad – quail eggs, crispy bacon, tomato, avocado and bleu cheese tossed with fresh greens and a red wine bleu cheese vinaigrette.

 

Choice of Entree:

 

Bresaola Gouda Filet – grilled filet topped with bresaola and sliced gouda cheese over white cheddar risotto, sautéed vegetables and a red wine demi sauce.

Pan Seared Mahi Mahi – topped with a bacon avocado salsa over a white cheddar risotto and sautéed vegetables with a jalapeno drizzle.

Vegetable la Pittura – roasted stuffed zucchini, wild mushroom stuffed tomato, grilled eggplant and grilled red onion topped with our private label black currant dark balsamic.

 

Choice of Homemade Dessert:

 

Dense chocolate cake with black and blueberry compote and lemon tuile.
